A national program designed for people with Parkinson's Disease. Rock Steady Boxing is a boxing-inspired program that incorporates balance, strength training, memory games, speech, and most importantly, friendships. Classes are offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday , Saturday at 10am, Wednesday evenings at 6pm. as well as Yoga and a Support Group once a month with speakers or "Sharing" our stories, questions and concerns.

HIIT Boxing

One of our most intense classes, HIIT boxing combines high-intensity interval training on heavy bags to provide an effective and dynamic workout!   This type of training involves short bursts of intense exercise, followed by brief recovery periods, to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, and endurance. Alternating between high-intensity movements (like boxing combinations) and periods of rest or low-intensity activity (like shadow boxing or light jogging), HIIT boxing incorporates punches, footwork, and defensive movements that will leave you exhausted, empowered, and excited for the next time!

BOXING 101 (Teaching the Basics … our Beginner Class)

Learn the basics of boxing and then exercise your proficiency in this exciting 60-minute class.

The first half of class reviews terminology and proper execution of the fundamentals of boxing (ie: boxing stance, south paw, orthodox, jab, cross, hook, uppercut, footwork) while the second half of class allows you utilize the new skills as you shadow box in front of a mirror, hit the heavy bag and do pad work with our instructor. Boxing 101 is an indispensable class for beginners, or those who want to refresh their skills. Members can continue to take this Beginner class until they feel comfortable enough to move up a level. This class is limited to 10 students  to ensure individual attention. Signing up ahead of class is strongly recommended to ensure your place.

STRIKING BEAUTIES BOXING TRAINING CAMP A NON-CONTACT BOXER’S WORKOUT

TRADITIONAL

Our original 60 minute class takes you through an authentic boxing workout. You will warm up with several rounds of jump rope, work on your footwork and combinations while shadow boxing, and learn defense that you can take into the ring. In this class, you will focus on conditioning and technique by doing rounds on the heavy bag and pad work. You will finish the class with some hardcore abdominal exercises.

Whether you want to become a boxer or just train like one, Striking Beauties’ traditional boxing workout guarantees you’ll walk out the door feeling stronger, better conditioned, and more self-confident!

PILATES BARRE FUSION. "Sculpt, Strengthen & Flow" Pilates Barre Fusion combines the precision and core focus of Pilates, the muscle-sculpting intensity of barre work, and the flowing movements of yoga and functional mobility into one dynamic practice.

This transformative class will help you build lean muscle and strength, improve flexibility, and balance, and develop a strong, stable core. Each class incorporates a mix of standing and mat work using light weights, resistance bands, and stability balls. Suitable for all fitness levels. Drills,drills,drills!! You want to punch? You want to sweat? Only got 30 minutes? Then this is the class for you! After a brief warm-up, you will work round after round of punching drills on the heavy bag and intermittent pad work from the instructor. This intense, non-stop class works on your speed and building up your anaerobic threshold. And as always, we finish off the class with a blast of hardcore abs work!
